چکیده

Direction-dependent dynamic systems are defined, and Wiener models for them are described. For first-order systems with pseudo-random binary inputs, optimising the model parameters by cross-correlation function matching methods based on analysis gives excellent results. For first-order systems with inverse-repeat pseudo-random binary inputs, optimisation by discrete Fourier transform matching and output matching methods also give excellent results. These optimisation methods may be extended to directiondependent dynamic systems that cannot be analysed, as illustrated by a first-order system with a pseudo-random ternary input, and a second-order system with an inverse-repeat pseudo-random binary input. Nonlinear System Identification Using Hammerstein-Wiener Neural Network and subspace algorithms

Neural networks are applicable in identification systems from input-output data. In this report, we analyze theHammerstein-Wiener models and identify them. TheHammerstein-Wiener systems are the simplest type of block orientednonlinear systems where the linear dynamic block issandwiched in between two static nonlinear blocks, whichappear in many engineering applications; the aim of nonlinearsyst...

Determination of Fiber Direction in High Angular Resolution Diffusion Images using Spherical Harmonics Functions and Wiener Filter

Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) MRI is a noninvasive imaging method of the cerebral tissues whose fibers directions are not evaluated correctly in the regions of the crossing fibers. For the same reason the high angular resolution diffusion images (HARDI) are used for estimation of the fiber direction in each voxel. One of the main methods to specify the direction of fibers is usage of the spher...

Dynamic responses of poroelastic beams with attached mass-spring systems and time-dependent, non-ideal supports subjected to moving loads: An analytical approach

The present study is the first to analyze the dynamic response of a poroelastic beam subjected to a moving force. Moreover, the influences of attached mass-spring systems and non-ideal supports (with local movements in the supporting points or base due to the presence of factors such as gaps, unbalanced masses, and friction or seismic excitations) on the responses were investigated. Non-ideal s...

Comparative Study of Random Matrices Capability in Uncertainty Detection of Pier’s Dynamics

Because of random nature of many dependent variables in coastal engineering, treatment of effective parameters is generally associated with uncertainty. Numerical models are often used for dynamic analysis of complex structures, including mechanical systems. Furthermore, deterministic models are not sufficient for exact anticipation of structure’s dynamic response, but probabilistic models...

First Estimates of Wiener-hammerstein Systems Using a Random Multisine Excitation

Wiener-Hammerstein systems consist of a linear dynamic system followed by a static nonlinearity, followed by another linear dynamic system. These models are difficult to identify due to the presence of two dynamic systems. Usually, a nonlinear estimation procedure is used to estimate the parameters of the different parts. This nonlinear estimation procedure needs good starting values to converg...
